Adding fragrance to hand soap

You can make your own fragrance  by adding one or more essential oils to regular soap.
Click the links below to view soap that I use. I also have citronella oil that I will put in our soap for camping. One bottle would last for a very long time.

All you need:
1 pump full of either the orange antibacterial or original antibacterial soap several drops of any essential oil (I used 10 drops orange oil for my kitchen, it adds a refreshing smell to it.)

 All you have to do is add oil then shake it up
Now you can create a new and personal fragrance!  

Homemade Lunchable

Here is a great idea for anyone! This will help you with portion control and variety. They come with extra dividers so you can move them around according to your meal.  I will be making fabric bags to put these in and selling them on Etsy!!!! All you need to buy is a tackle box and fill it  with lunch.

Up-Cycle: Milk Jug Toy

Our family is trying to find things to do as a family with out spending the extra money on these "activities" like bowling, swimming etc. So here is an easy project for your family to make at home. The nice thing is most people already have the items available in there home. 

 You will need the following:

• Scissors
• electrical, painters, or duct tape
• 1 gallon milk jug
• a ball, you could also make one from paper

You will need to then:

Cut the bottom of the milk jug off (there was a line on mine so I just cut along the line)

Place tape around edge and fold over

Now you have a new game to play! 

Earing Holders

These can be made into any size or color.

I am going to be attempting to make standing ones in the next couple weeks.

Re-Fashion those jeans into shorts!

These can be made in any size. I made these for my daughter because the sparkle thread made her knees itchy.

 First, find a pair of old or new jeans. 

Cut them 1-2 inches longer then what what you would want them.

Roll them up twice. I rolled the fronts, pinned and then the backs of the pants.  Make sure they are even enough.

Pin them or in my case use a kid friendly way with clothes pins!
Last step is to sew on the insides and outsides of the legs. Along side the stitching that is already there. Not around the whole leg.  Iron and you are done! Contact me if you  have any questions!

Birthday Wrapping

I had some scrap material, tulle and a paper bag. This is what I came up with. I made a rosette for the top & my daughter pulled it apart. I think you can still get the idea. Do you think this is cute?
