Enchilada Sauce

(makes 3 cups)

I've not yet tried this recipe but I got it off a bIog to try tonight because I forgot to buy sauce on Friday. Since I only go to the store once a week to save our family from stress & we don't spend as much!

Enchilada sauce

2 T. cooking oil
2 T. all-purpose flour
2 T. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 can (14 oz. chicken broth)
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Heat oil in large saucepan; stir in flour & chili powder. Cook for 1 minute then all remaining ingredients. Bring to boil & simmer for 10 min. Refrigerate leftovers
